Welcome to our new Boat…The Pat Graham MBE
At a special ceremony, Exmouth in Bloom’s founder member and President, Mrs. Pat Graham MBE named our newest flower-filled boat, by the Station, after herself.
Pat said she felt it was a great honour and she hoped that the boat would always be “filled with flowers and bring joy to everyone arriving into the town”.
Pat was also a past Mayor of Exmouth and the current Mayor Councillor Jeff Trail came along to congratulate her as did the Town Crier, Roger Bourgein. It was a lovely occasion.
Pat was joined by a host of Exmouth in Bloom volunteers and well-wishers including long-standing volunteer Maggie Webb who presented Pat with a beautiful bouquet of home-grown flowers
This project has taken months of work, renovating the boat and negotiating with Devon County Council so Exmouth in Bloom would like to thank everyone who made it possible to honour this wonderful lady in this way.
