Our monthly workparty coincided with the schools’ half term so many of our team were either away or on grand-parenting duties. However those who arrived soon got stuck in to tackling weeds that have grown between the pavers on the Station concourse and made a start on tidying and weeding the outside of Tower Street church at the request of the ladies organising the Remembrance Day Poppy Curtain there. It’s always good to be helping in the Community. Its what we do best! We also love the camaraderie of a cuppa afterwards in the sunshine.
