It may not be everyone’s cup of tea to go litter picking in a narrow but fairly busy lane between Exmouth and Littleham but three ‘ Exmouth Bloomers’ and a ‘Littleham Bloomer’ swelled Roger Gibson’s Clean Streets gang for an hour. The thing is that while picking up some disgusting rubbish, there is always something beautiful to see, smell or hear…… dog roses, honeysuckle and meadowsweet and the birds singing. We removed several sackfuls of rubbish from the lane before returning to the Clinton Arms where the new landlord laid on coffee and biscuits for us all. Thank you and well done everyone.
