The annual gardening competition that Exmouth in Bloom organises to celebrate Exmouth’s gardeners was launched on May 26th at Tythe Cottage, last year’s winner of the business premises class. The proprietors Steve and Kerry Munday are pictured with Mervyn Jackson (overall winner in 2015) and Mr & Mrs Arthur Kellaway (winners of the recycled item class) together with members of Exmouth in Bloom.
Entry forms for the 2016 competition are available from the Town Hall, the Library, and Kings Garden Centre. Please return entry forms to the Town Hall by July 2nd. Alternatively you can read or download the competition leaflet here and email your entry via the ‘Contact’ page.
Judging takes place between Monday 11th July and Saturday 23rd July.
The competition is generously sponsored by Kings Garden & Leisure Ltd. Their vouchers form the prizes: £100 for the winner and £50 for the runner up; £25 for the best child’s garden; £100 for the winning school. Keen to encourage the children, there is also a box of gardening accessories for every school that enters the competition. Exmouth in Bloom is most grateful for this sponsorship.
