Our last fundraiser of the year was a Coffee Morning at Littlemead Methodist Church Hall. It was a really festive event and the hall was packed with local residents and a group from Rose Lodge Care Home came too. It was lovely to see all the smiling faces when they saw the selection of cakes and all the wonderful craft items that had been made by our volunteers. There was a book stall and a raffle and last of our 300 calendars was sold. Precious little was left by the end of the morning and we raised over £250. A special ‘thank you’ goes to all of our volunteers who helped and to the Church and to everyone in the community who came to support the Coffee Morning.
