Just two schools entered our Schools Gardening Competition, though they were both top quality entries. On Thursday some very excited representatives arrived at King’s Garden and Leisure for the presentations.
Pearl Cawse, a very long standing member of Exmouth in Bloom, presented certificates and the overall trophy to Littleham C of E Primary School. Richard King from Kings Garden and Leisure, presented generous tokens and baskets of gardening goodies to Marpool Primary School for the best Vegetable Garden and to Littleham for the best Garden Overall. Karen Turner from Birds and Bees also gave both schools super Bug Hotels to put on a post or wall to provide mini-beasts with places to hide or hibernate during the Winter months.
We are extremely grateful for the support of our Sponsors and sincerely thank the teachers and helpers who make this event possible.
