Judging may be over for this year but the plants don’t know that and were crying out for some attention, so an emergency ‘pop up’ work party was arranged and 12 hardy volunteers came to the rescue, including our newest recruit, Josie.
In less than two hours we did a lightening tour of our beds, planters and troughs and brought order once again, ………..until that pesky chick weed thrives once more. (For information everyone, we hear that Chickweed is the new pea-shoots for popping into salad. All Exmouth in Bloom Chickweed is organically grown!!!!!! )
Of course no work party is ever complete without a bit of social time and a catch up at the Powder Monkey afterwards. Well done again Blue Team.
