The Estuary Clean, organised twice a year by Surfers against Sewage, was a huge success. Bloomers joined about 50 volunteers who found tyres, plastic piping, metal chains, collapsed lobster pots, and lots of broken glass from the old landfill site on the estuary while the tide was out. Then a fabulous Stuart Line late afternoon cruise along the seafront and up the Exe, with a Jazz band and Krispies award-winning Fish and Chips as a thank you. Fantastic and very yummy!
