Jim Collins’ next stop was at Bystock Pools, where Liz Hamling was on hand and before showing us around she explained the history of the area and how it became part of the Devon Wildlife Trust. The peace and quiet and the reflective nature of the pools is magical and wildlife thrives here by the water and up on the heath beyond. Do come and visit this amazing place.
