Alexandra Terrace has suffered with a severe bindweed problem so EiB volunteers have dug down, almost to Australia, in the hope of eradicating it. The bed will be left unplanted until May, in the hope that any bindweed still left growing can be sprayed beforehand. A lady from a neighbouring house came over with morning coffee, which was most welcome.
