The Exmouth in Bloom committee and volunteers worked tirelessly for the last few months preparing Exmouth for judging by the SW in Bloom on 10th July. Having won the cup in our class last year, we were entered into the Champion of Champions class this year and in an effort to increase our chance of success we have weeded streets, paths and highways, painted planters, bollards, benches, railings, walls and even shelters as well as planting and tending our many beautiful floral displays around the town. Our efforts to improve areas has encouraged others to improve their own properties too!
A huge thank you to each and every one of you for all your hard work, not forgetting Exmouth Town Council, East Devon District Council Streetscene and and Wilson’s Paints for their help and support and to anyone else who has helped us in any way over the last six months.
