Readers may be interested to hear that the brackets for the Exmouth in Bloom Flags Project, which has been supported and generously funded by Devon County Councillors, Richard Scott, Jeff Trail and Christine Channon, have now been installed above Franklins and Travel World in the Strand, by Jand L Muir Builders Ltd. Our thanks go to Jonathan and Lee Muir who did the job quickly and efficiently and with great good humour. They also generously donated their time in appreciation of the work that Exmouth in Bloom does for the town.
We hope they enjoy the little treat we gave them by way of thanks…… a selection of our Exmouth in Bloom home made Marmalade, Chutney and Jam.
We hope that meanwhile the brackets will be used by the businesses over the Xmas period, for decorations and look forward to May next year when all those involved in the project will be thanked formally and invited to a ‘Grand Unfurling’ of the flags.
