You might think this looks somewhat chaotic but it was actually a well oiled machine with a new volunteer Laura joining us. Welcome Laura! We have purchased some new Amberol Reservoir Celebration planters, to replace the ones in the Station Welcome Area. We have gifted the old ones, which are more than 40 years old, but still work, to Brixham in Bloom. Megan and Dave came with their trailer just as we were finishing emptying the compost out. All the compost was barrowed to the Wavy Bed. Many of the plants will be rehomed in the Sensory Garden rockery. Some are being returned to our grower Boyces of Manstree and some potted up to go on the Table Top Stall on 17th June. The new planters will be installed soon.
It’s interesting to see how forlorn the Station area looks, without the flower towers, especially when its raining!
