What an incredible team of 21 volunteers today! The early birds met the delivery of plants and sorted them all into their respective planting areas before the next lot of volunteers arrived to plant. Elaine had drawn up the timetable and co-ordinated the bags of plants, wheelbarrows, watering cans and all the logistics while Gerry and Bill did out regions deliveries by car and Carol was on ‘security’watch looking after the donations bucket. Everywhere planted by mid-morning and we were ready for Exeter Road School Yr1 to arrive for planting Manchester Road. Fabulous plants in super Fruity Bright colours so watch how they develop.
