Last year Exmouth in Bloom launched their Blue Hearts Campaign to re-wild Britain bit by bit. We actively encourage and support EDDC with their policy to deliberately leave some areas to grow wild for a good part of the year.
This message came to Tim Dafforn, of Wild East Devon, from a visitor to the town.

I just want to say we’ve just come home from a wonderful day out in Exmouth. It was great to see the wilder verges. It made my heart soar to see proactive re-wilding happening. Well done for getting action on the ground and loved seeing the blue hearts too.”
