People may have noticed that the Carpet bed on the seafront, opposite the Ocean building, has been looking somewhat neglected of late. The truth is that what appears to be a bed full of weeds has actually been sown by EDDC gardeners and the ‘weeds’ are actually Green Manure which will be dug into the soil in due course to put lots of nutrients back into the soil. Great idea!
There is a sign explaining all due to be installed any day soon.
