Anticipating problems with COVID 19 and the possibility of not being able to garden socially in town we have been catching up on a few last minute jobs. We have been re-homing some plants donated to us by EDDC so have popped some Heucheras in at the edge of the Waterwheel and cut back the huge Hydrangeas and Pyracanthas that would otherwise overshadow the beautiful Town Council Blue planter by summer. We also used some colourful donated Primulas in the three seafront roundabout planters which had been left unplanted due to sea defence work and also to avoid the damage from salt water and winter storms. The road junction there is to be re-modeled to include special flood gates in September, so we anticipate a whole new look next year.
