A wonderful Xmas celebration lunch for 43 Volunteers and Friends of Exmouth in Bloom was held at The Devoncourt Hotel today. After a delicious traditional meal we adjorned to the conservatory for Coffee and Mince Pies. Gerry thanked everyone for making 2022 such a success and Graham passed on a message from the Mayor (absent due to Covid) to say that the Town, East Devon and Devon County Councils are all fully behind our nomination to represent the South West in the National Britain in Bloom competition in 2023. Wendy entertained us with her brilliant traditional Christmas ‘ditty’ ( see video link onExmouth in Bloom’s Facebook page, 14th December) and thanks go to Carol who organised the Left/Right Secret Santa. All great fun and cameraderie.
