Oh what a night!
Our annual fundraising Quiz Night at the GWRSA club was a huge success with a full house of 22 teams ( 119 people) coming to support Exmouth in Bloom. Huge thanks to the GWR staff for providing the excellent venue and bar and Ed ( and Janice) who designed and ran the quiz and kept us all in order! Many thanks also go to Sharon for taking the team bookings and also to the EiB committee for prepping the tables, ready for people to arrive and for selling raffle tickets. Well done to Gerry who did her usual MC job perfectly.
The 1st prize of the raffle was a lovely box of goodies generously donated by Brixington Co-op. The winning team was Graham’s Diggers.
There was a great deal of laughter and fun and all in all it was a Community night to remember, particularly as a whopping £607.52 was raised.
The whole room was jam packed with 22 teams.
