01.02.20 February’s Repair Cafe was buzzing.

I don’t think the Repair cafe has ever been as busy as it was today. People were queuing out the door to register their repair with Hedge trimmers, Lamps, Shopping bags and Vacuum cleaners under their arms, all needing mending.  Then they sat down for a cuppa and a cake while they waited for their turn. I am told that more than 50 bacon baps were also sold by the ladies manning the kitchen!

The introduction of a few table games such as Tiddly Winks and  Dominoes was a genius idea and kept the customers amused between chatting to new people or catching up with old friends.

Exmouth in Bloom also benefitted from the increased clientele, who bought all sorts home made items, books and plants, that were on sale in our pop-up shop, amounting to over £135. We thank everyone who came, for their generous support and lovely compliments about our efforts in Exmouth.
